Good Day.
This week's spelling words are:
has, hat, hen, hid, hit, him, his, hop, hat, hut - bonus hug, hip
bank, sank, tank, thank, prank, pink, sink, wink, drink, think, - bonus spank, blank
Today, students worked with this words in their workbooks.
In Math, we worked with pictures and dots for basic math questions. We also used playing cards 2-10 to add the numbers and suits. The students really liked this. Then when we used our workbooks, we timed it, with most students finishing in 3 minutes. After this, students visited their Math challenges, whether it be adding, greater than/less than, base ten blocks with numbers and number word, skip counting, or placing numbers in the correct popcorn bucket.
We recalled our morning routine in our Language Arts Writing books using sequence words such as First, Then, Next, After that, and Finally.
We finished our lists of dinosaurs in the three eras of their existence.
