To everyone who contributed to the Christmas Basket - thank you. We chose a Hot Chocolate and Marshmallow Theme.
Today, we focused on subtraction for numbers 5-10. We used cubes for number stories. Dogs, cows, hats, balloons, and snowballs were used. The students need to create a story with children using numbers, pictures, and words. After agendas, the students worked on addition colouring sheets. They really love these.
We used two periods to work on dioramas, cutting, painting, planning. The students were very productive, helpful with each other, and excited to create dinosaur environments. They are to research their dinosaur this weekend and be ready to share this coming week.
