Good Afternoon!
Today, we worked some more on subtraction. This is proving to be a challenge for most of the students. I have work packages we will use in the afternoons to solidify our skills.
We reviewed spelling words from the past 8 weeks and learned about a Scrabble activity being introduced as a Challenge.
Later, we worked on our dioramas which are slowly getting finished. We should start presenting our research soon, so those who have not collected their information should visit Google and have their interesting facts as well as the meaning of the name, etc.
A wonderful surprise! We are going, as a school, to see The Grinch, Friday, November 30 1:30-3:30. Please note - parents are requested to pick up their children from the theatre. They will not be brought back to the school building. Thanks. Your child has the trip information in their agendas or homework book. I need the permission slips and money by Friday, November 23, 2018.
