Good evening.
The Book Fair is coming soon. Teachers are taking turns introducing books that will be available to buy.
We worked with cubes today, sharing the different number sentences adding to 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 before working in our books.
We work with our spelling words in the workbooks, then visit Literacy Challenges throughout the class. Students cut and paste, step, rainbow, read the room, read the poem, build sentences, and do word searches.
We discussed the rules for Freeze Tag then decided how to change the rules to make the games different.
At the end of every day, I read a story to the class before packing up, meeting on the carpet and I ask each student a question about their day. Today, we sang a silly song together, 'Bringing Home my Baby Bumble Bee'.
