Good afternoon.
Today was the last day of our Unit 'Who we Are'. The students drew pictures of beginning, middle and end of a game, changing one of the rules. We focused on Freeze Tag.
On Monday, we go Prehistoric, discussing dinosaurs as well as animals that are threatened with extinction.
In Math, every student was assigned a number between 5 and 10 and were tasked with sharing 4 ways to add to that number. If the students finished early, they visited Math challenges dealing with number sense.
Later in Literacy, we had our weekly Spelling Test, and then visited an assortment of challenges around the room.
Lastly, we celebrated a birthday. Yum!
