Greetings!

Well, we are back into routine with assembly, morning message, poem, calendar wall template and read quietly for 10-15 minutes.

Today, we started our Data Management week, blindly taking one of 10 black or white cubes out of a bag and recording this on a graph. The students enjoyed this activity.

Later, we talked about our speeches, deciding what we can comfortably talk about for 3-5 minutes. The topics sound fun. We did mind maps to record the 5 w's, and key words relating to the topic. This is a challenge since the students will then have to write their stories and then memorize them.

We also discussed menu ideas, sharing menu plans for pancakes, pasta, tacos, and grilled cheese sandwich meals, the food groups represented at each meal. We need to do this before the students start planning their four meals to understand how to choose, and that they should have 4 of the 5 groups represented.
