Good evening!
In Math, we continued to study Data Management. The students had each other sign their names in a chart - names less than 5 letters, 5 letters, names more than 5 letters. The students really enjoyed this activity.
In Language Arts, we are working on our speeches. This is proving to be a challenge. The speeches have to be 3-5 minutes, coherent, sensible, and incorporating the sequence words. Helping students brainstorm the 5 w's of their chosen activity requires questions to help them focus their thinking.
In our Unit, we continue to plan menus. Again, this is challenging, ensuring each meal has 3 of the food groups as well as drinks.
We look forward to skating this Friday.
