Wow, April went fast!
We continue with our minute math which is becoming a highlight of our day. Competing against ourselves to be better than yesterday is fun. Today, we worked with word problems, either answering with normal adding, base ten blocks, cubes, or mental math. This is proving to be a challenge for everyone, which is good. Highlighting the key words, numbers, and deciding how to answer the question takes time.
In Unit, we enjoyed 'The Magical Garden of Claude Monet' written by Laurence Anholt loaned to us by a student in the class. The pictures are beautiful and the story lovely. Thank you.
Have a super evening.
